I Can Build A House or a Website

I've worked with 'developers' and developers.

I'm a Labor Guy Who Knows Tech

I know you already have plenty of emails from people promising you "leads" and the front page of Google. I'm not here for that. I'm not a marketing guy. I'm a labor guy who knows how to use tech to get sh!t done. I'm here to shrink your overhead, not add to it.

These aren't websites your friend's son can make.

Thanks to drag and drop builder sites, almost anyone can build a McWebsite these days. At the end of the day you're just putting photos up, describing what you do, and a way to contact you. I go beyond that and find the right software stack that lets you run your hands-on service business like a laptop worker.

My Background

My father worked in the trades. Growing up he'd take me to work on weekends and summer breaks to "build character." He had 20 years experience before going independent and knew his trade well, but was tech illiterate. I'd watch him work 10+ hour days in the field then come home to spend even more hours on administrative work. Now, you've heard this story before. My immigrant parents struggled so I got inspired to work an office job and never look back, right? Wrong.

Everything I learned in the corporate world, I brought back to the field. If I was in an internship that used CRMs and Kanban boards to organize work around huddles and sprints, I thought about how we could use it. I paid attention to every software stack and process and told myself "if they can use it, I can to." This is the mindset I try to inculcate in every small business owner I work with. Your team of 5 can act like a Fortune 500.

It's Not That Complicated

After working directly with dozens of business owners and founders in the service industry, construction trades, and custom craftsmen, I've found that owner-operators need more than just a flashy website.

They need a way to keep track of inventory. They want progressive billing and a way to manage contracts with ever-changing deadlines and add-work orders. They want a calendar that clients can use to book a video appointment on. These technologies have become widely available in the last 10 years, and if you've been mastering your trade for longer than that you might think you've missed out on learning how to use them. That's not true.

If you've been referred to me, it's because you need someone who can get sh!t done. Someone who can Make I.T Happen

A Good IT Guy is a General Contractor

I'm not here to re-invent the wheel and build everything from scratch. I use my experience and judgement and find the best tools and assemble the right team for each project with budget and deadlines in mind.

Field Tested

After graduating I went off to work a corporate job and then startups. Every lesson I learned I'd bring back and apply it to the family business. Most tech guys don't understand the needs of hands-on service workers. They just want you to get on their app designed by the marketing team and pay them a giant subscription fee. I tell it to you straight and implement only what you need. I make sure it just works, and I deliver on-time and under-budget.
